Harry

Q had been spending most of his time in the computer lab since it had opened up, really only taking breaks for tea and to feed the cats. As frustrating as the network here was, it felt good to have something to try and take apart, and last night... Well, last night he might have fallen asleep in the lab.

He took a shower at the dome and took the time to find clean clothes, but he still looked a tad rumpled and tired as he finally wandered into the cottage. Beta greeted him promptly, and he nearly tripped over the fluffy beast before stumbling instead right into-

"Oh, good morning Harry," he greeted, smiling warmly and steadying himself. "Apologies, I'm at least one cup of tea shy of being human."

If Q could have done anything more than groan, he might have assured Harry that he rarely did. Instead, he simply started to buck harder, panting and almost clawing at the other man as the pleasure built and built, leaving him teetering on the edge.

Having Q so wild underneath him was just... "You're extraordinary, Q," Harry gasped out, so close himself now that he was having to purposefully hold himself back from coming.

"I'm not," Q gasped, needing Harry to know that, even as he found himself tumbling right over the edge. Spilling over their fingers, against skin, Q wanted to tell Harry he was a mess of a man. However, in the afterglow, all those feelings washed away.

Harry lost his composure somewhat when he felt Q's body tighten around him, saw the expression on his face. He moaned, thrusting hard a couple more times before he came. He'd had a grip on Q's upper arm, and his fingers dug slightly into his skin.

When it was over, he felt like melting into a puddle, but for a moment, stayed inside Q as he softened, and looked down at him.

Q said nothing, but after a moment he pulled Harry Down to kiss him again, before slipping his arms around him to embrace him tightly.

When the kiss broke, Harry pulled out of Q so that he could settle beside him on the bed, still in that embrace. "That was wonderful."

"It was," Q said softly, still a tad breathless and still holding onto the other man.

[lepidopterologist]

Harry breathed in deeply, and it sounded a bit ragged. "I haven't felt like this..." Ever? Was that saying too much? "In a very long time."

Holding on tighter, Q was silent for a beat, then finally spoke.

"It's nice to feel so... Cared for," he said quietly.

[lepidopterologist]

"You are. Very much." Harry began to lightly stroke Q's hair. "And it's a crime you haven't felt like that more before this."

"No one's fault but my own," Q assured him, giving Harry's arm a tight squeeze. "And really, the true tragedy is that someone as lovely as you has been neglected so long."

[lepidopterologist]

"Also no one's fault but my own," Harry said. "I made choices... I might still be making them, if I hadn't ended up here."

"This is the one bright light in a sea of misery," Q admitted. "You, James, us... It gives me hope."

[lepidopterologist]

"It is a way of forcing us to slow down, I suppose," Harry mused, still idly stroking Q's hair. "Though I can't help but wonder what would happen if we were back home."

[cuppa_q]

"I imagine life would have continued on exactly as it had been," Q said honestly. "Bond would be shagging tarts, you'd be working and avoiding your desires, and I'd be..."

Q trailed off, ashamed, then shrugged. "Well it doesn't matter, because we are here, and everything has changed."

[lepidopterologist]

Harry nodded. "I think... you're probably right. Though I will confess, some things were changing before I arrived here. It was different. I nearly died. Should have died, probably. Eggsy got married. I took over Kingsman. Merlin died..." His voice trailed off. "I was starting to rethink some things."

"Perhaps in a way it was perfect timing for all of us. Kismet," Q suggested, his voice hushed and soft.

[lepidopterologist]

"I liked you the moment I met you," Harry confessed.

[cuppa_q]

"I was quite taken by you as well," Q admitted.

[lepidopterologist]

"You didn't just see me as an older version of Bond?" Harry couldn't stop himself from asking.

[cuppa_q]

"You and James couldn't be more different," Q assured him with a soft laugh.

[lepidopterologist]

"Ah... yes, but when you first met me..." Though the comparison between them brought something to mind, and suddenly Harry laughed. "Do you remember your eavesdropping on Eggsy from my glasses?"

[cuppa_q]

"I do," Q replied, a small smile playing on his lips then. "That seems so long ago now."

[lepidopterologist]

Harry remembered it very well, in part because of how amusing the situation had been. He'd given Eggsy an earful about it later, though. "Eggsy asked me why I couldn't be more like Bond, get laid more."

"You have your own methods, and I'm sure if you wanted to live like Bond, you could have found a way. I don't think that's your style though, Harry," Q said softly.
