Bond

He'd been seeing both Harry and Bond once a week. Bond on Mondays, Harry on Thursdays. Two very different kinds of weekly 'dates;, two very different men, but two very similar sets of feelings for Q- Which said more about him then the men he was spending time with.

Tonight he'd been with Harry, just talking really- And it had been lovely. Harry was always so gentle with him, from his tone to his touch- Sometimes Q was certain he didn't deserve such kindness. Those were the thoughts that haunted his mind as he left the Headmaster's office and headed down the hall.

Bond was making his pass around campus after dark, as he did every night. H'ed checked the grounds and now he was wandering the halls. He came around the corner and saw Q walking toward him.

"You should be in bed," he said mildly.

Q seemed genuinely startled, and wet his lips with a nervous flick of his tongue.

"I was with Ha- Headmaster Hart," he explained, since that was the truth.

He was about to say Harry. Bond lifted an eyebrow at that.

"I see," he said. "And what were you doing at this hour in his room? Not exactly the place one studies."

"We meet once a week to just... Talk,"Q replied. Though he knew that wasn't enough of an explanation.

"He was mentoring me before his unexpected promotion," he added.

"I think your time could be better spent," he said, unimpressed.

[cuppa_q]

"Yes, well, the Headmaster feels the same about me spending time with you," Q replied, somewhat defensive.

"I'm certain he does."

Bond stepped a bit closer, into Q's space where he stood like a wall.

"If you think he can protect you, you're mistaken. He can't even protect himself."

"Do I need protecting, Sir?" Q asked, refusing to be intimidated.

"You wouldn't be the first to think he'd gotten in over his head," Bond answered.

[cuppa_q]

"I'm not worried- I'm a strong swimmer," Q replied calmly, squaring his shoulders.

[0_0_7]

"Good. Then you've no need for the headmaster. You can stop 'talking to him," he replied, wondering how Q might react to that level of control.

Q was silent a beat, then exhaled softly.

"You're asking me to disobey the Headmaster, he's requested my presence in his office weekly," he said finally. "...I don't believe you have that kind of power."

Bond couldn't help it, a tiny grunt of amusement huffed at his nose.

"So he thinks his title means he can give orders? Adorable," he scoffed.

Q said nothing to that, he knew he'd already shared too much.

"If there's nothing more, Sir, I should probably return to my dorm," he said finally- Though part of him wanted Bond to tell him to follow him. The more time he spent with the man, the more he knew it was a bad idea, but... He loved it. He was addicted to it.

"Oh. So I'm just supposed to let you go on your merry way? You've broken the rules being out this late, Q. Come along," he said and motioned for the lad to heel and follow him.

"Actually, Sir, I didn't," Q said, pushing just a little, clearly testing his boundaries. Q was a good sub, a natural really, but he was young, and he couldn't help but challenge Bond just a bit. "You see, I have the headmaster's permission to be out. You can ask him, if you like," he added boldly, a faint but definitely smug little smirk on his lips.

"You have a little kink, wanting to tell your last lover I'm going to beat his touch off of you? Fine," he smiled maliciously. "Let's tell him."

"I'm not- He isn't my... We kissed, once, and that was before..."

Q was panicking, and he hated that- But more than anything he didn't want Harry to know what he was letting Bond do to him. He'd carefully danced around the whole situation, and even still he knew Harry was worried.

"Please, let's not disturb him," he finished quietly.

That was the contrition he was expecting. Bond nodded and, in an almost kind gesture, he slipped his arm around Q's waist and walked him down the hall.

He looked a him along the line of his shoulder.

"We'll leave him alone for now," he said. "And if you perform well tonight, I'll see to it he never knows."

And the threat hung in the air. Now that he knew, he could hold it over Q. He could reveal the secret to Harry at any time.

The threat lingered in the air, and Q knew he'd fucked up. He'd have to be exceptionally careful from now on.

"Thank you, Sir," he said quietly.

This was stupid, he should just tell Harry. Right? They were all consenting adults after all, no crime had been committed... But what if Harry decided Bond was dangerous? What if he was fired. Mad as it was, Q liked spending time with Bond. He needed what the man offered. It was more than lust or a kink, he needed it.

Bond led him directly to his room and let Q in. He sealed the door behind them. Only then did he withdraw his arm and move to look at him.

"Have you missed me?" he drawled softly.

"Yes, Sir," Q replied, watching Bond seal the door. Though he grew a bit bold again, and pushed back a bit. "Did you miss me... Sir?"

Bond considered him for a long moment, then reached out and lightly touched his chin.

"More than I should," he admitted coolly.

That made his pulse flutter, and for a moment his shame and guilt was forgotten. Maybe that was okay though- Maybe he shouldn't be ashamed?

"Shoes," he reminded him, slipping his own off as well.

"I hadn't planned on a guest. Apologies for the mess."

There wasn't a single thing out of place in the main rooms. But when he lead Q in the bedroom it was rumpled and unmade.
