Taking a break from picking apart the computers in the Lab, Q was currently home alone- Bored. Bored was never a good thing for the boffin to be, it tended to get him in trouble, and he was currently making a mess in the bedroom, clothes all over the floor from where he'd been digging in the closet for the few tools he'd scavenged over the past few months. Between the piles of clothes were several deconstructed phones he'd found on the beach, all in various states of disrepair. ...And, of course, right in the center of the chaos sat Q himself.

He knew Bond wouldn't be impressed by the mess (Harry seemed less likely to mind), but that, on some level, was part of what he was up to. He was bored and irritating Bond was one way to entertain himself.

Q wanted it, but he was just so defiant, and he scowled a little.

"Take you over my knee," he muttered, his voice just a tad tight beneath Bond's hold.

Bond rose and pulled Q to his feet as well. His hands were hard and rough, jerking Q around as he tore open his fly and shoved his trousers and pants down.

He moved away from him just enough that he could slip his belt free from his waist. He doubled it and made it snap.

Q did, actually, falter slightly at that- And for a moment it was as though he was somewhere else. Somewhere far in his past.

"I don't think we're ready for that," he said softly.

"No?" he asked, stroking Q's body lightly with the fine leather. "Would you rather I stick to just my hands?"

"Just until I'm sure you can use that without breaking skin," Q said honestly, seeing no reason to lie.

Bond moved in close, his voice low and threatening.

"If you like, I can leave no marks at all," he promised.

"This really doesn't bother you? It doesn't make you ill?" Q asked, still certain Bond must find him repulsive right now.

Q gasped, but didn't struggle this time, instead waiting to see what James would do.

"Step out of your trousers," he said, only letting go of Q so he could shed his own.

Q studied him for a long moment, then nodded as he stepped out of his trousers and kicked them aside.
