Q twisted away, not shy about fighting back hard. He always got the impression Bond liked it best when it was a real challenge.

It was never a fight with Harry. A strong hand and a firm word and the older man submitted with pleasure.

Q was not so pliant. Bond knew not to expect obedience. He was pleasantly surprised when it happened, but he knew Q too well.

He grabbed and pulled, pushed and shoved. Wrestling Q into place wasn't easy, but he finally managed to collar him.

"You never make it easy," he scolded, his hands still on Q.

"I know when you want me to behave- And when you don't," he replied with a huff. "You're easier to read than you think."

"Q, I might want you to behave, but I never have any expectation you will," Bond told him. He caught his face in a strong grip and squeezed.

"You always give me the best excuses," he said low and cool.

Q pouted, then grew bold. Bond thought this was misbehaving? Oh, he'd barely begun.

Without warning, he spat right in James' face.

Bond's hand shot out and he grabbed Q by the collar and hauled him in close. The leather cut into the back of his neck and Bond's knuckles pressed into his throat.

He looked at him for a moment, then spit forcefully in his eyes.

"Not the behaviour I expect from a princess," he sneered.

Q whimpered, trying to clean his face with the back of his arm.

"Bastard," he muttered.

"I am. You're not wrong," he said mildly.

He let go and shoved Q to the mattress again. He followed swiftly, straddling him to pin him down.

Q struggled as hard as he dared, and huffed when he couldn't free himself.

For all his complaints, however, the boffin was visibly aroused.

Bond slapped his cheek, then grabbed his wrist to cuff it to the ring on the collar.

"You can fight all you like Q. I'll win," he said coolly.

"One day you're going to decide to fight someone stronger than you, and lose," Q warned.

"There's no one stronger than me left," he smirked.

"And you can' deny you like it," Bond taunted lightly.

Q wanted to argue there was always someone stronger, always a threat, but kept it to himself.

He struggled again, but knew he couldn't free himself. If there was a threat to James out there, it wasn't him.

Once he had both of Q's wrists secure, cuffed beneath his chin in submission, he climbed off. Reaching to the end of the bed, he found a strap and tied it around Q's ankle so he couldn't get far.

"I think tomorrow, rather than go to the market and do as you please, I'll keep you just like this," he said.

"I'm not your pet," Q reminded him. "You wouldn't want a pet, Bond, you'd get bored."

"You're not my pet, Q. You're my most treasured possession," Bond told him, moving to drag his hands over him simply to feel him.

Q actually seemed to settle down a bit then, somewhat touched by James' words.

"Oh," he said quietly.

That made Bond pause, then smile slightly.

"Were you unaware, Q? How much I value you? How much I love you?"

"No. ...Well, perhaps, somewhat," Q admitted, "I don't always feel like treasure, I feel like a tool. An acquisition."

"That's true as well," Bond said. His touch became softer as he moved in close to Q to kiss him.

"You're everything I could possibly want, Q. You're perfect."

Q was quiet, not sure what to say to that.

"I think you like feeling as though you own me. ...Harry too," he said finally.

"And why shouldn't I? I'm proud of you. I'm proud to say your mine and I'm yours. I don't own you."

He tugged at the strap on his wrist binding him to the bed.

"But I'll never let you go."

Q held his gaze, trying to see the truth behind those hypnotically blue eyes.

"I love you, James. I won't claim to understand you, but I adore you. Always have."

"You're a fool," he smiled, laying down beside the bound man and gathering him up.

"And I'm very lucky."

He wondered if Q noticed how much kinder he was when the boffin was well behaved. Likely. Q noticed everything.

Q did notice, but it wouldn't effect how well he behaved.

In truth, Q liked when James was a little mean. Not that he'd admit it to the other man.

He was sweet and soft, only for a moment, then bit the other man's shoulder as hard as he could.

Bond yelped in shock and grabbed him, rolling him over with one hard push.

A hard hand cracked against his ass.

"Behave," he scolded sharply.

His hand stung from the slap and he massaged the sting away by groping Q roughly.
